General Impreza Advice

Hey. I'm 20, insured in my own name. Currently I drive a 1.8 MGF (nob-vvc). It's got 51k miles on the clock. I paid £2800 for it in September.

I am thinking of selling it at the start of summer. I estimate if I get lucky I could manage around £3300 for it.

I want to put that money, and another few grand that I wil save, towards an Impreza but I've only just started considering the Impreza and so have done very little research on them and haven't even got an insurane quote yet. It must be a turbo, really not interested in the old non-turbo models.

What advice can you give me? From what to look for, insurance...pretty much anything to do with them.

Yeap I know insurance will cripple me but I'm prepared to pay it as I'm working full-time and should be able to make ends meet.

When I sell the MG I'll have one years NCB on my own name...could have another year on top of that if I hadn't gone under my paerents name for the first year.

What would you get then if you were in my position? I've always had a thing for scooby's and whenever I consider other motors they just don't do it for me like the subaru's do HOWEVER like I said I've done little actual reasearch on them and so I might be being slightly ignorant.
