It seems that ever since he's been on here he's been asking every possible question about 535d's. Is he ever going to get around to it?

I wonder why he never buys anything. What does he drive, isn't it an old Fiat or something?

He just has to know about the different size in ashtrays between 123d M sports and 535d's before making his decision...

...of what pointless question to ask next.

He was a total pain in the arse on Briskoda when he was wanting a Fabia vRS.
It would appear some things never change.

Christ on a bike, is he still looking then?

I remember at the time scribbling down my initial impressions of my recently acquired 120d M Sport to give Welshbeef an idea of its merits against the 123d.

The elapsed time since posting those scribblings? Well my car was bought in Dec 07 so you lot do the maths............thumbup

Big question is what does Welshbeef drive in the interim whilst these life changing decisions are being pondered for all eternity? (If it's taking him this long to make a decision over a car change i'll go with a Morris Oxford. purchased from new.......)

I will not buy a car with the current economic situation & high expenses - much better to wait 4-5 months to see how things are then.

FYI - I was looking at getting a 123d by Aug08 as a comp car and used my own car in the interim - however I changed jobs thus that deadline was no longer a finite position. Yet I still wanted/still do want to change. Things changed again with the wedding, honeymoon all paid for by myself - which if some of you may know from other posts was planned to be paid for by selling my HBOS shares however given they dropped from £10 to under £2 at that time I suddenly had to use savings instead to finance the wedding as I didnt want to crystalise the loss in HBOS & decided to hold on for the very long term.

Added to this the huge job losses in my sector and the requirement to get a new contract come Mar/Apr09 it really isnt the best of times to be buying is it!

For the Briskoda bit - that website is very amusing, they have threads about their car vs xxx car and no surprise here but 99% of the time they win and sadly for the site the Mk1 vRS section seems to be used by many of those burberry wearing folk - I really hope the vRS fab doesnt turn into the Saxo VTS God forbid.

Lastly ignoring anything else this is a car website whereby the general tpics are to discuss cars, my posts are as such - this thread in isolation has nothing to do with cars what so ever.

How about a thread about the 335d Mapped - we all saw how that ended and yet again here we go again. Shame.
