That’s incredibly bad luck, hopefully you get it sorted either way? Was this a lease via Arnold Clark or not even a lease at all?

Mine is due delivery this morning between 8 and 8.30am. Working till lunch and then I’m done for a week and a bit.

Turned up at 8.30am and everything seems fine, the delivery guy said he’s removed the cardboard from the door and it had the plastic over the seat which he removed and wiped down the door strip (he unloaded it further up the road due to someone parking on the other side to my house).
Car is slightly dirty as it’s been on the transporter overnight.
Will have a proper play after lunch after I finish work.

Oh and it looks like steering intervention once switched off stays off on a lock/unlock cycle.

I think the recommended pressures are and what they end up coming with are very high. I think my fronts were low 40’s psi and rears about 36.
I’ve lowered mine to ~34psi all round (reset the tpms and then it doesn’t tell me off).

Ride seems really good on 19’s, easily as good if not better than the Cupra on 19’s with it’s adaptive suspension set to comfort.

Got everything setup how I want it although I’m not impressed with carplay to much, I couldn’t get any volume out of Spotify in CarPlay even though it’s playing! Prefer the Spotify in idrive anyhow so ignoring CarPlay for now.

Love the pics of all the cars they look great...apart from the damaged one! That is seriously annoying!
Really wish I needed to pull the trigger on getting mine delivered, plan is still end of July delivery. But all these posts are tempting me bring the date forward....
Just get it ASAP, sending the Cupra back early (couple of months) and the bonus was there was no charge (I was expecting I’d have to pay for those 2 months), it was on a 1+23 as well ie I didn’t pay a load in the first month.

Private plate is on mine so doesn’t matter about whether it’s a 21 or not.

Blue 128ti looks smart but discounted blue myself as the Cupra is blue otherwise it would of been on the list.

Yes you can turn off the audio lock/unlock in the settings.
Left mirror down is the position of the mirror select switch on the drivers door (iirc if it’s to the left it doesn’t drop).
I’ve set CarPlay to the number 1 shortcut button and radio to number 2. Note that if you log into Spotify on the idrive then you won’t get any audio from Spotify in CarPlay (it plays but no audio). As BMW are ditching Spotify on the idrive I’ve resorted to the CarPlay version and it seems to work well.
Tyre pressures I’ve set to 35psi front and 34psi rear, they were 40+psi otherwise (all cold measurements).
Steering intervention to off (and stays off).
Ordered a cheap boot liner tray from Amazon, supposed to be decent but I’ll update on the what I think when it arrives later.

Seems fine for £20, probably not the height of quality but it fits perfectly and will more than do the job of keeping the boot floor clean.

Hey, what was the thought process of the boot liner, purely to keep the carpet clean or is there some kind of design issue that the liner fixes?
Just to keep the boot carpet clean, cleaned out the Leon Cupra the other day (now collected after I finished the lease early) and it was a pain with grass caught in the fibres. Thought I’d make life a little easier.

Are BMW really ditching Spotify? I knew they were ending the BMW Music thing but I thought Spotify was standalone??? I think it works really well - would be a big shame if that goes.

Just checked on the Arnold Clark tracker to see if anything is different since taking delivery. The tracker now states my mileage (including delivery mileage). I think it updates overnight.

There are now also options to book car in for service, buy my car and take car abroad.
So the car is uploading your mileage each night OTA?
Mine says 164 miles on the tracker but the car is on 118 miles. I think the tracker is the pro rata mileage and so it’s handy to see if you are over or under your mileage allocation.

That's interesting. I never got registered for the AC tracker. My car has now arrived and can be collected whenever I want. Sadly my current car isn't due back until September.... I think I will send it back early in August though.

Anyway, what price are you getting offered for buying the car?
You have to submit a request.

Looks great buddy!

Personally find the ride in my M135i with 19’s really good, I’d check the tyre pressures as they put 40psi plus in on the 19’s at least.

Insurance wise mine is £370 via Chris Knott (Babybmw sponsor), both me and Mrs in our 40’s and for 8k pa with business use, no points or claims.

I like the proximity warning triangles in the side mirrors, nice wasn't aware it came with that feature (its the small things etc.)
Do you mean blind spot warning? If so great. I’ve had that on hire cars and found it to be really useful.
That’s the badger, couldn’t think of the correct description!
Is this part of a pack?

Anyone took GAP insurance on these lease deals? Got my 128ti coming tomorrow.

Considering getting return to invoice gap insurance.
Not on this one, you can get specific GAP for lease.
Try ALA and use MSE25 for 25% off.

Had a quote back from AC for a "BMW 128ti 5dr Step Auto [Live Cockpit Professional] Hatch EU6 MY21.75" on 8K mile per year, came back with 3 x initial and then £299 , how does this compare to what others have seen or gone with?

Never leased before so this is all new to me so all input welcome.
Have a flick back through the pages in this thread to compare, make sure it’s like for like though (metallic, mileage, spec). 99% of quotes will be over 3 years in the thread.

Just a FYI……

You can switch between Sport and Sport Individual by pressing the Sport button (with Sport individual you can set steering, engine, gearbox to either Sport or Comfort to customise as desired).
It also remembers your last Sport setting (either full on Sport or Sport Individual on an engine off/lock scenario).

I have set Sport Individual on mine to steering and transmission to comfort, engine to Sport, this should also open the other exhaust flap (in comfort it doesn’t open).

I dont RTFM hence I didn’t know until today!

Got my car delivered (yay) but they never put the red decals on it. Looks like a standard 1 series. It's also go P0 instead of PS4 tyres.
Have you checked the order sheet to make sure it doesn’t say decal delete?

PZero are a performance tyre, you aren’t guaranteed they are going to be PS4.

Had my 135 for nearly 2 weeks now - noticed when I have the windows open that in 1st/2nd gear the engine sounds noticeably ‘rattly’ under load, with really loud turbo whistle too - is everyone else’s the same? It doesn’t sound very smooth in those gears but is fine once it gets up to 3rd - never been in one of these before so nothing to compare it against….don’t want to waste time getting it looked at if it’s just normal
That’s normal.

Didn’t have a problem with mine, the seat and door protection were removed by the car transporter guy.
Car was slightly dirty from being on the transporter but that was unavoidable given it couldn’t be kept under cover like if it was actually at a dealers.
