Result (finally)!
I think I've already posted on your thread on a more specific forum, but enjoy!
And I just seem to have a square set of 8J x 18" CSL reps that I don't need any more.

Welcome to the Z4 fold. Have you managed to get any pics of the car uploaded yet? Hmmmmm............. wheels...............may need some piccies on how they look on a car..............
After a couple of nights , it was looking like this
With pressure on to paint the brakes and disc drums for the new wheels , tonight I have painted the rears and also replaced the brake pads , while in bits. Just have the fronts now to do. Will add a piccie when the new wheels are on . Need to get the front lower valance painted as damaged from a low kerb scuff, but there is places that sell a lower cover , which changes the shape a bit but stops low level chips, but although seen them, not sure where I can get one, then I wont need it painting !!

Do like those alloys Sandman. Must admit I didnt want a black car as such a ballache to keep marking and marring off it, but they do look great and glad I did buy it .
I seem to be on a mission to get everything done in 2 weeks with mine. Today I have fixed the loose front driving light as being a missing screw and painted all the calipers and disc bells silver , rather than rustic brown . Ready for the new wheels. Also replaced the rear brake pads. They were marked as 06/ 07 the old ones, so dont doubt they were original pads from build. Really happy with ours and only day 8

My 1st one was Ruby Black, so I know what it's like trying to keep it looking good - especially when it lives outside!
It looked fantastic in strong sunlight, so in the UK that meant it mostly looked just black.
So next time around I managed to find a blue one. Might as well have a gratuitous photo, given the topic!

My Z4C is one of the last – I've had it for 10 years from new. Original star spoke composite alloys were replaced under warranty after five years but the replacements have corroded away in the same fashion.
What are the best bet replacement wheels?
I'm guessing when you mention star spoke composite alloys you are referring to the 108s, which always suffer issues with corrosion around the titanium bolt-heads that lifts the lacquer. Which is why I sold mine before they started to look scabby! What are the best bet replacement wheels?
CSL replicas are very popular as they look great on a Coupe, or 224s (the OEM wheels for the M) but I went for my 295s as I wanted something different.
