I have just bought a BMW M3 Evo Convertible (1997) I think the annual premium is about £1,300 but I had to have a tracker installed. Not too bad as 28 years old and live in london but do have 7 yrs NCB. It is insured through Tesco. About the same premium as a TVR Chimera of the same age.

Another recommendation for Elephant.

My original quote from them was around £1300. I ask out of curiosity the price if i add my G/f.

Price dropped to £900!

At the time i was 29 and she was 27 (+ 3 no fault accidents)

Cant say what they would be like in dealing with a claim as i have been fortunate to never have. (touch wood)

Tesco wanted £1,800 and my old insurers wouldn't insure me on the M3 so I cancelled with a month to go. Lost the years NCB almost earned but now drive an M3!!
