haha I guess i grew up in lucky family since it sounds like u never had any help or rather never had parents
sorry to hear that but i think i kinda know what the real world is like when I'm paying half the tuition fee and paid my car with the money I invested?
i may have had help from my parents but getting 7000% profit out of my initial budget wasn't that easy as a student
but anyways i feel for you man, seems like you were an orphan as a child based on your words and being alcoholic and all, you deserve what you got now, it's all what you worked for, enjoy
I don't tend to contribute to this thread because my relationship with BMW is very on and off, but I feel as though it's relevant to point out 'how the other half live' and all that. I'm also not a big fan of your wording but that's by the byway.sorry to hear that but i think i kinda know what the real world is like when I'm paying half the tuition fee and paid my car with the money I invested?

As an example of the opposite of your situation, I'm going to bring to the table mine:
When I was 16 my Dad lost his job - I left a good (state funded) grammar school with 12 GCSEs at A or A* and went straight out to work in a theme park in order to help pay his mortgage and other expenses, whatever he needed I gave him. As time moved on (I was just shy of 19) the house was sold to free up some capital and we moved into a smaller place. I was still paying the mortgage, while my Mum and Dad used about £15000 of the capital to go travelling. My Dad got back into work, yet for some reason my parents still took considerable amounts of money off me for their mortgage, and I couldn't afford to move out because paying their way had left me unable to put any money aside.
Fast forward to now - I'm 23 years old, I've escaped and I live with a friend in his house (his parents gave him the deposit for it), I have no qualifications to speak of, I'm still recovering from debts incurred whilst living in the so-called safe haven that is home, I see a counsellor once a week and am on a hefty dose of anti-depressants to keep my ever swinging moods under control and I honestly have no idea where my life is going.
I'm not a jealous person, and I tend to keep these things largely under wraps and ignore why or how people of my age or younger get themselves into a position whereby they can afford such very nice cars (although, from my observations when people do ask it tends to be a similar situation to yours). But Christ, there's no need for things like "seems like you were an orphan" et al.
What I'm trying to say is wind your neck in; take any banter on this forum on the chin, and remember that you are very privileged to have had the funding from your Dad in the first place - most people don't get that sort of thing - so don't make out like people having less than you is entirely their fault, and that they've somehow failed at life.
Finally, stop saying "u" instead of "you", it makes you look retarded.

It's sad that after a year of ownership I have only just got round to photographing my E46 properly now that I reluctantly have to sell it. Hope you like it! I waited 4 months until the right E46 came about, and it's one of the most sorted ones I have ever seen (and I work for BMW!)
The Individual Blackberry leather was very difficult to capture in the warm lighting in the car park, so the final photo (taken outside by iPhone a few days after purchase) shows the colour much more effectively. I'm sure its not to everyone's liking but that's what choice is all about!

I have no doubts you'll be a better person for it, unlike that arrogant and ignorant piss stain. I'd love to link his parents to this thread.
Well done for having the fortitude and diligence to keep cracking-on with stuff - a good example to many in this country!

Surely there must be less extreme ways to borrow £7,800????
at 24 with student debt, and currently back with parents saving for a house........ I'd need a tank full of juice with it to escape the ensuing wrath of our lass and my mother for buying "yet another stupid expensive to run car"Johnky90 said:

Love the M6, think you should have left yours alone though, it's trying too hard to be something it's not!
What do you think i tried to do with it?Am I trying too hard to be something not BMW? not 6er?
I didn't wanna make it look like standard 6er pretending to be an M6 so decided to go for non-M6 style looks.
