the lass / mother part
Mine work in tandem to make my car owning days hell. Both fail to see why the e36 went to be replaced by an Alfa that needs work, and neither could understand me blowing 50% of my salary on the 200sx.
Conversely my mother adores the 145 whereas the OH detests it!
Updated pic... I've had headlights resealed but just need to get round to drying them out. Condensation for some reason! That's the only issue I have with it, and I've taken it from 24,000 miles to 100,000 miles over the last 4 years.
I had some CSL wheels on it, managed to buckle them slightly on our stty roads, so went for the standard 108 wheels as a replacement. Need to get some wheel centres which I'll pick up tomorrow.
Anyway, this is mine as it stands today;
Edit: Having seen the pic in large size, the rear wheels are 255 section, I think I need some spacers, the wheels should not bury themselves in the arches like that!

Well done for having the fortitude and diligence to keep cracking-on with stuff - a good example to many in this country!
As an example of the opposite of your situation, I'm going to bring to the table mine:
When I was 16 my Dad lost his job - I left a good (state funded) grammar school with 12 GCSEs at A or A* and went straight out to work in a theme park in order to help pay his mortgage and other expenses, whatever he needed I gave him. As time moved on (I was just shy of 19) the house was sold to free up some capital and we moved into a smaller place. I was still paying the mortgage, while my Mum and Dad used about £15000 of the capital to go travelling. My Dad got back into work, yet for some reason my parents still took considerable amounts of money off me for their mortgage, and I couldn't afford to move out because paying their way had left me unable to put any money aside.
Fast forward to now - I'm 23 years old, I've escaped and I live with a friend in his house (his parents gave him the deposit for it), I have no qualifications to speak of, I'm still recovering from debts incurred whilst living in the so-called safe haven that is home, I see a counsellor once a week and am on a hefty dose of anti-depressants to keep my ever swinging moods under control and I honestly have no idea where my life is going.
I'm not a jealous person, and I tend to keep these things largely under wraps and ignore why or how people of my age or younger get themselves into a position whereby they can afford such very nice cars (although, from my observations when people do ask it tends to be a similar situation to yours). But Christ, there's no need for things like "seems like you were an orphan" et al.
What I'm trying to say is wind your neck in; take any banter on this forum on the chin, and remember that you are very privileged to have had the funding from your Dad in the first place - most people don't get that sort of thing - so don't make out like people having less than you is entirely their fault, and that they've somehow failed at life.
Finally, stop saying "u" instead of "you", it makes you look retarded.Sobering stuff, chap. Also, entirely spot on.
I have no doubts you'll be a better person for it, unlike that arrogant and ignorant piss stain. I'd love to link his parents to this thread.

haha I guess i grew up in lucky family since it sounds like u never had any help or rather never had parents
sorry to hear that but i think i kinda know what the real world is like when I'm paying half the tuition fee and paid my car with the money I invested?
i may have had help from my parents but getting 7000% profit out of my initial budget wasn't that easy as a student
but anyways i feel for you man, seems like you were an orphan as a child based on your words and being alcoholic and all, you deserve what you got now, it's all what you worked for, enjoy
I don't tend to contribute to this thread because my relationship with BMW is very on and off, but I feel as though it's relevant to point out 'how the other half live' and all that. I'm also not a big fan of your wording but that's by the byway.sorry to hear that but i think i kinda know what the real world is like when I'm paying half the tuition fee and paid my car with the money I invested?

What colour is it? Looks like Topaz Blue to me, which after Black and Silver is the most common E46 Sport colour.
Mystic Blue I think. Random one of mine with the Eibachs fitted!

Thought I recognised Mystic Blue. I've had BMW's in both Mystic (E46 330Ci Sport) and Topaz (E46 318Ci 'vert) and although similar Mystic is definately a richer, deeper, slightly darker shade. A very nice colour indeed.
