Yeah, they’ve bloody massive and my other half hates them, like really hates them.

The one close by was nice, but it’s an N53 and there is nothing in the history re the HPFP or NOX sensor so I gave it a miss. I’m no expert but I feel comfortable with the N52 and this one isn’t leaking.

I did look at E9x 30i’s but good ones seem hard to come by. A well spec’d E91 would be been amazing but the ones in budget were poverty spec. The E92 seems to be going through a bad patch and has fallen into the wrong hands; tatty and/or interesting MOT histories.

I have to say my wife doesnt my 630i as its that big but as she said herself its not like she'll ever be driving it. They are very big on the outside for not a whole pile of room on the inside.

Sold it! Well one of them anyway.

330i now gone. First person out bought it. Actually made a little on it overall after running it for 16 months.

Blokes need something to polish when they’re at home with time on their hands....😂

I've mentioned before, my wife was v dubious about it but ever since driving it, she loves it. I think it's partly because of the lightness of the Servotronic PAS and the smooth ride. Yes it's big, but I do find it feels smaller than it is on driving...still big in Tesco car park spaces though!

Yeah are about the same size as a parking space, so can be tricky to squeeze into smaller spaces... Especially if you have no creep or clutch pedal!

To be honest, I always park in the empty bit of any carpark, which means getting in and out of it a little easier too.

My wife hasn't driven it yet either, but is also not used to anything without a clutch pedal so is a little fearful of it I think.

Agreed a deal to get rid of the 140 and move into a 130i. An opportunity to save sone cash on cars (not using them much) but still own something fun with a great engine.
Good choice. I’m taking the good lady to see a 130i at the weekend as a replacement for her Z3 that got pinched last year.

Thanks Jake.

They’re hard cars to value at the moment. There are some absolute stters out there as well as some absolute dreamers (like Church’s who have an LE up for £11.2k).

Good luck with it.

They really are. I helped a mate buy an LE late last year. His is nice. CIC navi retrofitted, heated seats, Logic7, and cruise control with a Bilstein B12 kit too for about £7,500. £11,000 is too much really.

Tip: find a car park with a curved part. These have some non-parallel parking bays, so one end of the bay is wider, very handy these.

Not a bad tip that, shame non rod my supermarkets have that!

I do use the key to lower the windows before opening the door if I am in a tight space, which really helps getting in and out.

Sticks.

I know what you mean but I can't help thinking of this smile

I just used to find an end space and park the end-side of it.

From what I have seen 130i's seem to be valued about the same level they were when I got my 125i in 2014, which is pretty impressive whichever way you cut it.

Just need 125i prices to keep doing the same, will be easier to persuade the wife we need to keep it when I get a new one later in the year smile

Lots of stuff has it that if you double tap the unlock button, when you open the drivers door the window lowers, and then opens when it's shut. I had it on my E46 coupe, and it was handy for tight car parks. smile

Hopefully they'll stay that way too! hehe

People do seem to quite like them now. They were largely ignored compared to the R32 for example.

You’ll be very happy with the Birds kit. I have it on my 330i touring and it’s fantastic. Really well judged setup for our roads, and with proper tyres on the ride is much better and there’s much less DSC interference.

Picked up 2019 CCC pro nav disc from the dealer. I thought £79 was not too bad.
