Due to pick up the car next week. BMW dealer has just informed me today about how I wish to pay for the extra 775 RFL. At no point has this ever been discussed with me and they knew the car was not going to be with me before March, as I requested May, so I am not happy.
Did you get this through G2L and Leasys?

Same thing happened to me with Stratstone BMW last month. Tried to negotiate 50% but no movement from them. That being said I did not pay for this upfront, was split over 24 months with no interest.

It's Stratstone BMW that have sprung this on me aswell.

I await to see what they can do but suspect IAM going to end up paying it. Gutted.

I've had a fun situation where the built in Spotify app and the iOS app via CarPlay fight eachother. I might unregister the built in app.
I get this as well and then end up with nothing all together. The way I’ve learned to live with it is to disable CarPlay, which can be a nightmare when I want to use waze. Arrrghh

They did offer and apply paint protection free of charge to smooth things over a little, which I accepted,

How did you get your car? Are you local to the dealer?

First opportunity to take car on a longer road trip of circa 250 miles for business purposes..... a mix of motorway and A / B roads. A real pleasure to drive even on tight twisty B roads, feels very planted on the road, tried ecopro for about 10 minutes then sacked it and kept car in either dynamic or comfort for majority of journey.
Obligatory sports plus and floored with windows down from M6 Toll booth....wonderful !! Still achieved and average 38MPG for total journey which I find amazing !!! smile

38 mpg for the petrol? I’d be more than pleased with that. I get mine probably Tues next week

I had 27mpg just fannying around locally with lots of sports plus pulling off noise just for the hell of it - in the car sub menu it registers when you last filled up and mpg from that point which is useful - I had an Audi b8 1.8 t that delivered around the same mpg lol so good to know you can use this car every day and drive it hard occasionally without worrying about massive bills at the pump - I’m also getting use to the idrive and the hundreds of sub menu’s slowly but surely smile

Confirmed today mine's coming tomorrow which is nice. Had the Golf R given a thorough valet today and should be easy enough to keep it clean until it's picked up Tuesday (although the birds do use the route above the cars as a bombing run...)!

Share any hints and tips you find with iDrive. Personally I am not liking it compared to Audi's system, although maybe I just dont know it well enough yet. It seems cluttered and I dont understand why for example you are on media and radio, that the list of stations remains in the middle of the screen. Same on Spotify. First world problems i know but the previous version of iDrive doesnt do this.

Looking to order the black exhaust trims at the end of the month - pay day! Anyone else considering these? Going to have a nosey at the car on the weekend to see how to remove the current ones.

Plan to keep the silver side vent trim as it breaks up the side of the car and goes well with the wheels.
