That looks absolutely mega
I'm sending my bare wheel off to RSW on Monday for them to fully re-trim in black alcantara all the way round with M stitching
I ordered the CF trim from BMW yesterday That wasn't cheap, but it's necessary
Have you got yours brand new from BMW or have you had it re-trimmed?
Oh very nice. Do post up results. If you dont mind me asking, what did that cost?I'm sending my bare wheel off to RSW on Monday for them to fully re-trim in black alcantara all the way round with M stitching

That one of mine is a genuine M Performance one. I posted previously it all escalated quickly in terms of what i was ordering...
I've not gone for it as I don't want the stripe at the top; or part leather etc... So a re-trim is my best option
Re the re-trim cost it's £180 (the 2nd hand wheel off eBay cost me £75); the CF trim section was £235...
Following a fuel pump issue I helped mine onto the back on a recovery truck. Now sitting with a trusted garage to replace the offending item and carry out a comprehensive service.
Poor timing though, as I don’t normally drive it while there is salt on the road, so once I get it back it’ll just be back in the garage until spring.

Did some further investigation into the 330i and it’s flooded DME.
Once the DME box was wiggles out of the way, there was a visible puddle to water above the wheel arch.
I’ve come to the conclusion that water has been collecting underneath and making its way back up through the one way valve in the DME box.

I nipped to Stratstone, Chesterfield to check if anything can be done with an odd issue I recently encountered.
On the odd occasion, I can return to my car and the boot is open - it has happened occasionally since I bought it and I put it down to me maybe pressing the button in my pocket but yesterday, it happened twice and the key wasn’t in my pocket. They were sat on my desk face up with nothing on the buttons. All the forums indicate an issue but solutions do vary. There are some which say the key needs recoding at the dealer, hence the visit today but I was informed they’re unable to code at dealer level, they can only block the keys if the car is reported stolen.
If anybody can suggest any suggestions, I would be appreciative.
I don’t keep anything of any value in the boot so that’s not my concern, rather it’s the fact that we’re going into winter and I’m concerned the battery is in the boot on F30’s and I don’t want rain to get in there or snow to sluff off the boot when the boot springs open. Not to mention it is an odd look in the office car park or drive.

Have you tried a week or so with using the other key fob?On the odd occasion, I can return to my car and the boot is open - it has happened occasionally since I bought it and I put it down to me maybe pressing the button in my pocket but yesterday, it happened twice and the key wasn’t in my pocket.
