Didn't mind paying 30 for wipers, the weird bmw clip system made them the quickest and easiest wipers to change ever, was quiet impressed tbh.
No need to spend that unless you want to; I used these on all my E39s and they're superb; outlasted Bosch wipers:

My pals 540i used to use oil a bit; he started using 5W50 and it worked a treat. Could be worth a bash next time you change the oil...

Any obvious leaks?

Haha; it's nothing special. Playing it safe; just wanted a change of colour and if I'm not sure; I'll change it again

Valve cover gasket wink - but vv minor. TBH it's likley time to replace the CCV valve anyway, on general prevention principles.

TBH at 5000miles/litre - that's just fine by me (after the Alpina B10 which ran c 900miles/l...). Pretty good by any standard.
But 5w/40 is a good shout anyway for long life.

That usage doesn’t seem too bad to me at all; that’s well within spec which I think is up to one litre per 1,000 miles.

I had a slightly early finish today so can he’s the rear discs and pads on my 335i they were looking a bit thin, but were even worse when they were removed.

The car reckoned there was another 3,500 miles to go….hmmmm. Not so sure about that. laugh

New Zimmerman discs with ATE ceramic pads and ATE wear sensor fitted.

Received this £14.99 airbag module, fingers crossed when coded in it will allow the warning lights and messages to be removed.

You don't need locking wheel nuts nowadays. There are no thieves taking wheels. It's easier for them to take the whole car.

I’m not concerned about someone pinching my wheels, the tyres are worth far more!

Anyone got any genuine wheel centre caps they don't need? Or are the cheap ones actually decent? Considering a wheel refurb and may as well get new caps.

Stick with OEM BMW; the cheap ones work and then they corrode in no time at all

As an example; but see what Cotswolds BMW can offer

As Dan said, cough up for OE ones.

All of the Amazon / eBay specials that I’ve tried haven’t lasted very long.

Gave the 330i a wash and check over before heading to the Lakes for a few days tomorrow; it just needs a tank of super now.

I also swapped the sunglasses cubby for one without a cover to make it more useful.

Packed the F31 to the rafters with x12 100l bags of compost and some tree stakes from the local garden centre this morning...

Interesting drive back laugh

Typical that the bags have small splits and now there's compost everywhere inside the car!
