What are the wheels on the E12? They're the perfect balance of historically correct and modern hot rod.

Cheers, they're ETA-BETA LUCY 16x9"s.

I read somewhere they were designed for the e30 M3 but they seem to have a bit too aggressive an offset for that.

The numbers in the bmw above (lovely by the way) kept bugging me. I thought it was similar to something I’d seen many times. Couple of digits and your Terry McCann

My late 1997 E39 528i with couple of rare factory options.

I bought this to replace my E36 328i, and mostly for the extensive factory options. The two tone paint is not to everybody's taste, personally I am not a fan. I will eventually get around to painting it back to full arctic silver.

Factory options
- Double Glazing
- Electronic Damper Control (EDC)
- Xenons
- BBS RC Alloys
- Heated Electric Memory Comfort seats with Lumbar
- Full SatNav with TV & Phone package
- Ski Bag

plus many more

Love that. Surprised to see it doesn't have a square plate aperture ala Jap imports. They seem to be the ones I see with EDC. Does it make that much of a difference in the different modes?

I bought a Jap import 528i for £600 a few years ago. It had passive dampers which were changed to Bilstein. I didn't see any buttons though for EDC either way. I've never even seen an E39 with the option.

I wasn't saying all jap cars have them, but the ones I see come up for sale with a particularly unusual spec (e.g EDC, Cloth comfort seats etc) Are Jap imports. There's an English 535i for sale with EDC currently.

Now that is nice.

Shame about the air filter hehe

Note the caps on top of the turrets, I presume they're the EDC?
