That looks great! I keep thinking about one as a daily but not sure if it’s viable.Nice 8 series as well!

Met and chatted to a chap in Guildford the other day who has his white Roadster as a daily - I told him I'd walked all around his car twice and unlike most modern BMW's I couldn't find a single line out of place - a simply stunning and unique piece of design.d_a_n1979 said:

I can't believe the i8 is 10 years old now.... This is mine when Brand New with my 8 Series. I personally struggled with the i8 as a daily as it wad just not practical enough and a little to much drama for daily use...
I know what you mean, the doors are certainly dramatic, but I would prefer normal opening from a practical point of view I have just looked at your cars, is that correct that you are running three 2 series, if so why ( not being critical, just a genuine question)

Not sure how I ended up with such a weird mix of BMW's. I should really flog them all and get something half decent, I keep meaning to but then can't be bothered to deal with the public.
1) 80,000 mile 320i Manual (converted from auto). I have got the centre caps :-) but had just fitted the new suspension and was out for a test drive. Been building a 2.7 stroker for it for years, really need to finish it off.
2) BMW 325ti track car, with m52b30, s50 manifold, Gaz gold coilovers. Style 22 alloys with NS2R's, bigger brakes. I've got an LSD and half cage waiting to go in, again just need to get round to doing it.
3) 69,000 mile 630i manual. Most people hate them but I like it, n52 is a nice engine.

Had this over a year now - thinking of manual swap as I’m getting some gearbox hang and whine on the auto.
Drives a peach still love it, great practical and modern enough for me to cart family in with no worries.
Looks tasty, was after a touring when I got my 39er.Drives a peach still love it, great practical and modern enough for me to cart family in with no worries.
Please tell me you want to swap those wheels for some style 33s
