What are these so called 'newer runflats' people seem to go on about? I see the same ranges of tyres from the same manufacturers available so there seems little evidence that there is some sort of amazing new generation of soft runflats around...
Not sure if they are any different tyre wise but the Pirelli run flats on my 340 with adaptive suspension seem to work really well , amazingly good ride in comfort setting , it may just be that the engineers have managed to fine tune the cars to the tyres . That said , I'm comparing to a z4 from years ago being the other car I had on run flats .paulwirral said:

It's not to bad , you can hear it but it doesn't bother me , that said I'm easy pleased as the 340 replaced a Mitsubishi l200 pick up , work version with wind up windows ! Edited by smashy on Tuesday 29th November 14:41

Wow, and no need for special EH2 wheels either... very interesting.Things I have on my 335d which I would choose again...
MSport+
Media pro+ (comes with HUD. I love HUD).
Adaptive dampers.
Heated seats are a no brainer. If you can, go for comfort pack and get heated steering wheel A bit decadent, but nice.
Folding mirrors.
Comfort access.
.... and the absolute must have is adaptive lights.
And I didn't spec surround view and i'm kicking myself. Looks like a great alloy wheel saving extra...
