Im quite happy leaving the badge on , It gives great satisfaction once you have overtaken the likes of an M3 or Evo etc to allow them to see whats just give them a lesson hehe
I'd put a 318i badge on one myself.

Are you saying you think 335d is quicker on the road than an evo? Just want to make sure 100% before I laugh some more tongue out

Been in a 535d (can the 335 be much quicker?) and it was impressive, but I also went in a Evo FQ MR (320 i think), and the cornering was not even in the same league.

Have you driven a recent evo?

my 335d standard was faster than my last remapped 535d, the 335d remapped is just something else. yes Ive driven evos , bought and sold evos/M3"s/911"s etc and they all get a go against the diesel, my pals Rs6 cant outdrag it either. its not rocket sience look at the figures 340bhp and 2wd and the 335d aint that heavy a car compared to the likes of an Rs6 with more power but 4wd and a shit load more weight. and the torque figure is another story!

I see where your comming from, in terms of straight line speed, but can a 335 really corner aswell as an evo... hmmm

Oh yeah, very impressive, no denieing that, its just them evos seem to be able to go around corners very very quickly even if its wet or theres bad camber or big bumps.

edit: also I know my car isnt amazingly fast by any means, but it will give most average cars a go, and I had a real hard time overtaking a new shape 325d, it seemed like my only advantage was that I could hold a gear for longer and had a bit more top end. A 330d or 335d would positively give me a hideing wink
