Just wait a few months and BMW will surely release a 335Cd! 272bhp and 413lb/ft of torque.

I may just remortgage the house......or the children.

Stevie.

the 320iS was most definately not an M3! For a start, it has a 2.0L engine

I've decided to hang on to my 323. Mechanics checked it over and its a lot better. Had new discs & pads, new caliper and bushes and.... I'm getting there.

Need some decent tyres now so if anyone can tell me where I can get some at a good price, I'd be most grateful.

When Alpina's back off his hols, I'm getting a kit off him and having it fitted... that should do the job!

Then I might just be happy with it

In Italy, they did have a 320i that was badged an M3.
Linda, speak to your local dealer, for a small diagnosis charge, they will tell you if the engine is Kaput. If so, flutter your eye lashes (works on me!) and get them to put in a goodwill claim to see if BMW will contribute towards a new block and pistons. If it has full history, less than 100k miles and under 8 years old, I'll stick my neck out and say they will probably pay most if not all of it. therefore solving your problem. Don't quote me though! Email me if you like and we can chat further about it.
