BMW refused to sell me "M" parts... WTF!

Guy I know got himself a E39 525i and proceeded to produce a M5 lookalike. Most of the bits came from the States and I reckon he could have had the real thing judging by what he spent on imported parts. At the end of the day it was still just a cooking 525i!! Crazy and I told him so.

I may have missed it if someone has already mentioned. But a 2004 car is going to have face lift lights, that just looks wrong with any M3 bumpers.

They always seem to forget the mirrors. One of the signatures of a genuine car is the pointed mirrors. First thing I look for.
