BMW timing chain issues on 330d?

Does anyone know if the timing chain issues on the x18d and x20d engines is also present on the x30d engine?

No. Not a common issue on M57 engines.

Depends which 330d? The 245 bhp (N57) sadly does have alleged problems.

Hoping the issues are sorted for the F30 330d? Not sure on the engine designation? But I'd assume it will just be a development of the last one - as that was all new with ally block etc.

Not sure how I would know what engine is in it? Its an E90 2008 58 plate.
