BMW 130i Values

Hi All,
Currently own a 2006 Bmw 130i, looking to move on and have been out today having a drive round in possible replacements.
In one day I have had 2 very different px offers which has left me rather confused...
Spec -
2006
Saphire Black
101,000 miles
Part service history
MOT June 2017
4 new tyres all round
Usual wear and tear, stone chips, alloys etc..
What do we think px value wise?
Maybe I am biased due it being such a great all round car I though values would be rather a lot higher than I have been offered today!
Any thoughts appreciated.

Thought about changing mine earlier this year and was offered £4.8k and £5k by two different dealers against £23-£25k M135i's. Was a little lower than I expected but probably about right for an '07, high spec, perfect history but 120k mile 130i.
To be honest it wasn't the PX value that put me off changing, more that I actually prefered my car to the auto M135i's. Might have felt differently if I'd found a manual to drive but don't feel the urge to change anymore.
I've said it before, there is nothing for under £20k I'd rather have than this 130.

Or contact Birds-BMW, they are also always looking for 130i/135i/335i etc.
They are in demand, but are now a 'niche' model, so that 'value' as a used car when traded in, won't be reflected in the offer you get, unless you are trading it into a specialist that understands that 'niche' market.

Same county as me then! Head says no (I already have a 325ti as a daily driver) but heart says it can't hurt to ask!
So I possibly could be tempted with a bit more info; is it an SE or M-Sport, interior colour, leather or not, any extras (like sunroof, CD-changer, HK stereo, etc.) and crucially how much are you looking for? A bit more detail on the history would also be helpful.
Probably better to PM me - it could save you paying for an advert!

PX values are not based what you deem the value to be, or what a 'fair' price would be. It's what the value to them would be. So very situational.
As an example. If the trader didn't have a huge profit in the new car, and they don't think they could flip yours in a suitable timescale for much of a profit, you'll get a low offer.
So, hypothetically a 120d may be more valuable to them than the 130i as it's easier to shift on for a profit. May be a smaller profit, but if you can flip it quickly it doesn't matter.

I'd say those rose tinted are glued on if you seriously think nothing under £20k is better PH disagrees.

These can be on a list if the list is purely budget constraint.
Auto v stick shifter - I have an auto and I also have a stick shifter as I too can still change gear.

The only one on that list that could compare to a 130i would be the Boxster possibly, and then only if the practicality of the 130i wasn't an issue, which it probably is, hence the poster saying what he did.
