Thoughts on debadging.
Discussion
First thing I did to mine. The offset Z4 on the rear bothered my OCD and the wing script “sDrive 35iS” was just too messy. Much cleaner debadged and very easy to do (heat up the badges with a hairdryer to soften the adhesive and use dental floss to “saw” the badges off, remove residue with white spirit)

I can’t see the point. Don’t all E89’s only have the engine designation on the front wings anyway? Hard to say without knowing what you’re trying to achieve.
If you really want to do it, a hairdryer is the best tool to have.
I don't hate the badging around the car, I was just thinking about a cleaner look. If you look at the front wings they are relatively small but look cluttered. If you really want to do it, a hairdryer is the best tool to have.
I will give it some thought.
It's your car, if you want to de-badge - De-badge it.
99.9% of people:
A) won't even notice.
and
B) Won't care.
0.1% of people will look at the exhausts, and work out which version it is most likely to be ( and more than likely still won't care)
At the end of the day, as nice as it is (I have loved the E89 Z4 since the day it was unveiled - It is such a beautiful looking car!), it's now an older BMW, that very few people even notice on the road.

I personally think cars look cleaner without and better to polish. I’ve had cars that were debadged and thought they looked better but currently mine isn’t debadged and I’ve left it.
Do what you think not what anyone else thinks. Even over your plate, if you like it do it. Your the one who owns it and drives it.
