Hi all,
An old gentleman has asked me to find out the possible value of a 1973 BMW 30.si. It has been parked in a barn for 20 years or so.
it is covered in bird poo but looks pretty sound apart form the corners of both front wings which heve rotted through.I have taken a few photo's and will try to put them up if it is considered worth it.
Phil

Are we talking about the E9 saloon, like this?
If so, about £1k if rotten but salvageable, up to £8k for a very nice example ... £3 - £4k for tidy, useable everyday cars.
They're surprisingly powerful, too - 200hp in something that weighs 1,300kg - and nearly 40 years old.
I have tried for an hour to put up some pictures and am giving up.If so, about £1k if rotten but salvageable, up to £8k for a very nice example ... £3 - £4k for tidy, useable everyday cars.

Yes it is the same as your photo but is right hand drive.
If you can tell me in very simple words how to get the pictures out of my album I will try again tommorow.
Phil.
PS I'm not very bright but I can pick up heavy things.

I have the photo's in my outbox And I wondered if I had an email adress I could forward them to someone who could then post them in the right place.
Many thanks
