'96 Registered E34 540i with M60 Block...

Guys, Thinking of buying a 1996 540i but slightly concerned about this bore wear issue on M60 engines. To my knowledge the block was not replaced on this car but I am not sure whether it was tested/needed replacing anyway.

Its only done 38,000 miles and has fBMWsh. Any need to be concerned or do I worry too much?
