E91 LCI 325d Fuel pump failure

My E91 LCI 325d failed to proceed this week. The culprit is the high pressure fuel pump, and in it's final hurrah it deposited tiny bits of metal through out the fuel system. This on a car that I was selling and for which the ebay auction was to end this morning. redface

By my (not very knowledgeable estimation) I need the pump, a new fuel rail, new lines (6) from rail to injectors, new injectors (6), and a thorough decontamination of the tank lines etc. FML.

Has anyone any experience of this failure, and the repair of it?
