F30 OBD port issues
Discussion
Just received a VeePeak OBD adapter this morning to start coding options on my F30 that I bought a month or so ago from BMW approved used. Plugged the adapter in and it wouldn’t connect to BimmerCode so I inspected the OBD port and I think there’s a bent pin:
2nd down on the right.
Would this be covered under the years warranty? As an aside, the car was in last week to have the MPPSK fitted which got me wondering if the OBD port is used to flash the car with the remap?
Is this an easy DIY repair?
Cheers.

I was able to bend the pin back out with a safety pin and then connect the Veepeak but still wont connect to BimmerCode. I then downloaded another OBD app called Car Scanner which was able to give me a real time display of my rev counter which responded to throttle presses. I've noticed that Bimmercode no longer list Veepeak as a supported reader, so submitted a support ticket.
