M3 GTR required for sound recording

I'm looking to source a GTR (or equivalent), to take to a recording session for possible inclusion into a street racing game I'm working on. Preferable in Scotland, but can travel.

Well, I know it's so so unlikely....

There were a few production cars sold I believe, so I'm just chancing it. Otherwise I will get in touch with the BTCC. Roadgoing would be a better choice though...

Has anyone any idea what the closest 'real-world' alternative would be for this car? I'd rather get something reasonable close than nothing at all.

V8's can sound very different though can't they. Really want something close enough...

Guess I should try and find a company who are still racing them.. or are they simply not being used at all anymore?
