I'm thinking of having a bit of a 'rationalisation' of my BMW collection. I've sold the silver 840Ci Sport I had advertised on here. Now I'm thinking of selling my E30 M3

After nearly 25 years of BMW ownership I was thinking of having a change of marque and maybe looking to get a DB7. However, the more I look into it the more doubtful I become. Seems to me that for similar sorts of money I'm looking at another 10-year-plus old car...and am I right in thinking the 6-cylinder DB7's aren't actually that fast a car by modern standards? Additionally, I did read on one Aston website: "The definition of an optimist is someone who thinks they can just about afford an Aston Martin!" LOL
Realising the above has made me think...
What about an E46 M3 CSL. I came close to going for a 'straight' E46 M3 about a year and half ago. Great car...but now there seem SO many on the roads and up for sale and really I'm looking to get something a bit 'different'. What do you reckon of a CSL?...Liveable with on a daily basis? Any other thought?
