I have found a guy with a set of Hartge sideskirts for a BMW E30 purchased from Birds.co.uk about a year ago but never fitted, still in the box. He wants offers but never having seen these ever advertised ever I havent a clue what sort of money we are talking about or what sort of offer to put in.

Can anyone help

Cheer

I am a member on the E30 Zone just didnt want to seem over enthusiastic by trying to find the price there

Ring up Kevin Bird (if you haven't already ) and ask what their worth new. I reckon no more than £60 for the pair,

Cheer for the tip. I wanted to move on this asap because these things tend to go quickly. If they havent gone by tomorrow ill give him a call I have the site on favorites

have you asked the question on the BMW GB M power forum ?

Im trying to limit my forum use to 2. Pistonheads and the E30Zone usually cover everything

we're talking Hartge items here!! I'd be surprised if they're anything less than £200+ VAT each from Kevin.

I have just rung Birds and they think £60 for the pair (secondhand)

He told me that new they would have been £85 per side

Fair enough, either you've got a bargain or Kevin must be losing his touch in his old age

Its not kevin that selling them. I rang him to find out what they would be new in order to take a punt at how much a secondhand set would be from a private seller. He suggested £60.

If Kevin had a set for £60 I would have ripped his arms off

Noticed your interest in all things Hartge in another thread, and it reminded me a mate has a cracking 'Hartge' number plate he want's to shift.....

He's also got a set of E36 17" Hartge 'Classic' wheels but as your an E30 man they might be of less use.

They are probably 5 stud which wouldnt fit mine and to be honest 17 is a bit big
Picture is blocked by work pc, What does the number say?

As far as I can work out the 'email me' tab on my profile works I just didn't want to fall foul of the advert rules.

Completely missed that, I was expecting it to be on the left hand side

it's up for sale, at basically what it cost him.

To be honest im not a great fan of personalised numberplates as the money can be spent on more usefull bits for the car. But just out of interested what does he want for it as I might know a couple of people who might be interested
