I would describe most of my driving as "spirited A- and B- road" with the odd motorway. Anyone suggest a decent set of tyres (car is on the original split rim alloys).

Thanks.

^^^^^ What Derin said.

Mine came as new from BMW with these and it's all it'll ever wear.

Derin, did notice the `Square Rigger` in one of the BMW mags. Have been meaning to drop you a call. Will do soon matey if thats ok.

Just noticed they are 225/45R17 on the front and 245/40R17 on the rear. Buying four of the same is cheaper - could I put 245/40R17s all round? Would it affect the handling? Or should I stick with the stock set up?

Cheers/

Yep, on the standard BBS split rims so staggered sounds like the way forward.

Thanks.
