key lost sync with car

One of my 2001 530d keys has forgotten which car it belongs to. The other one still works and they both transmit similar sounding data on 433 Mhz.
Last time this happened I followed a reprogramming sequence that brought it back in sync with the car. Have recently also had to do the same thing with the focus that lives here so I wonder if something in the house or at work is upsetting them.
I have done this before but can’t remember the sequence. Can anyone remind me what it is please?
