Steve your 8 series looks fabulous !
What is the badge on the back by the way ? I cant quite make it out in your first picture.
Hello Mr dibbly, ThanksThat Badge!!I wish I had taken £1 for every time that question is asked, I would be in a 911 now?, It's a badge from an Audi S8 which seemed very apt once the car was modified via a Vortech Supercharger providing 405BHP & 450 lbs TorqueWhat is the badge on the back by the way ? I cant quite make it out in your first picture.
S8 = Supercharged 8

Gorgeous looking car, and i love that front wing vent
But what does the badge actually say? It looks like S or B 5.6
And I'm hoping to have mine, well, end of the year would be nice but it depends how much mulled wine and snowballs Mr Talkwrench has between now and then!

Which model are you getting?

Someone mention my name?
Morning all! As the proud owner of 3 e31's (and a half stripped shell for parts), I could be called enthusiastic about this particular model, I guess!
Pride and joy is my CSi which never ceases to amaze me. I also have a lovely silver Ci which is the perfect GT tourer and the rather special Ci I've been rebuilding for Al (Burriana). That is an 850 like no other - with a rather unique exhaust note (or should I say orchestral chord)!
I'll post a whole load of pics in Photobucket and let everyone peruse some of the more intricate parts in the next day or so.
Talkwrench Are you also known as UKMIKE ? if so dare I mention anti roll bars?Morning all! As the proud owner of 3 e31's (and a half stripped shell for parts), I could be called enthusiastic about this particular model, I guess!

Yup - I'm UK_Mike!
Fortunately for all, words fail me when it comes to "K-Bar" anti-roll bars.
Its a long story and one that means I'm over $1000 dollars lighter and absolutely nothing to show for it except a great deal of annoyance!
That was an educated guess on my part Hi Mike I met you very briefly [I think] at Gaydo 4/5 years gone?Red Csi ?Fortunately for all, words fail me when it comes to "K-Bar" anti-roll bars.

I've had the 3.91 now for just over 12 months & don't like itIn fact it will be the 1st job in the new year to get it swoped over & the original 2.84 ? re fitted, with 450 lbs of Supercharged torque the car simply does not need 3.91add to that being totally pissed off with 4000+ rpm at 100+ mph.

I LOVE MY 8 SERIES !
Anyway, it was just wonderful. Sure, there are faster cars out there, including diesels now (!!!)
erm, I rarely find any!Anyway, it was just wonderful. Sure, there are faster cars out there, including diesels now (!!!)
Having just left a mighty surprised Carrera S wondering what happened on the bypass tonight, there really is very little that, in the real world, can significantly outpace a CSi.
Dont forget the Supercharged 840's
Not TrueThere are many 8's in the breakers try www.fabdirect.com & www.a1bmwspares.co.uk or www.quarrymotors.co.uk
