Z4 Xenon - switching beam for the continent

A'noon all.

I recently bought a Z4C and the wife an I are off to France (+ Switzerland, Germany & Holland!) on Sat for a week's touring holiday and I noticed in the manual that I am able to switch the Xenon's from RHD to LHD which is a bit of a result. However, I've just been out to the car, unscrewed the panel in the wheel arch, but can't see the lever that I apparently need to flick. Has anyone else done this and can give me any tips on where I'm going wrong? I'm not the most mechanically minded person, but I'm willing to give stuff a try if I know I'm doing the right thing!

That was my exact fear - I tried lifting the bar over the doohicky, but it was really stiff and didn't want to pull it too hard. (This post is entirely open to misinterpretation!)
