In fairness there probably isn't all that much between them in straight line speed - why do you think you'll kill yourself in the S2000?
Are you after a soft-top particularly? I'm intrigued as to why your choice is these two cars only.
id prob try and drive it like a front wheel drive and lose the back end or something! Are you after a soft-top particularly? I'm intrigued as to why your choice is these two cars only.
i like both cars, i have a ford and they are borin (no offence) id love a bmw but the insurance company just laugh and the mini is the closest, im 19 and theres not alot i will get insured on thats the problem....the s 2000 is £3000 to insure and thats with mum and dad on it lol.

Hell at 19 I would not want to pay the premium on a cooper-s.
But get the cooper-s out of the two.

Just a thought, but is now the time to be buying either? £3k on insurance is, frankly, ridiculous.
Ignoring the above, what are you after in a new car? Possibly there is something that suits that is neither of those two.
As a thought, if you like the idea of a 2 seater roadster but don't want to the worry of the power of an S2000, how about a Z3 1.9? Cheaper to buy, run and insure...
Agree totally, then again I guess your parents are helping out.Ignoring the above, what are you after in a new car? Possibly there is something that suits that is neither of those two.
