6 month policy...
Discussion
Is it possible to get a 6 month insurance policy for a bike??
The reason I ask is that in January 2009 I will no longer have to declare a rather serious driving conviction to my insurers (DR10) but I don't have the luxury of waiting until then to get a bike!
I need to have bought a bike and be commuting into work on it within a month ideally!
With bikes being nothing more than a summer fun toy for many I just wondered if you were able to get a 6 month insuranne policy.....not that you'd need a full 6 month policy for the UK summer but anyway.....
All advice gratefully received

.....I suppose I could take out a policy, pay it monthly for a couple of months, cancel it in January and then start again!?
