Presumably that would be one of their small arc welders (aka 'buzz box')? Useful for sticking together reasonably big bits of metal, but no good for anything thin like car bodywork. They can be a bit of a pig to strike an arc with as well.

I have been looking for a showerproof and windproof jacket to wear over my leathers for some time now and nearly spent £75 on a Cold Killers wind buddy recently.

Yesterday I walked into my local Mountain Warehouse branch and found their Napier Softshell jacket. They are currently reduced from £59.99 to £29.99 and there is also an in store discout of 20% !! So I paid £23.99 !!!

Got it home and tried it on over my leathers. Perfect fit. Looks fabulous. The stretch material even accommodate the hump nicely. It looks like a top quality piece of biking kit designed and made for bikers. It even has a deeper drop at the back and an elasitcated drawstring for perfect position when you lean forward on the bike.

Major result !!!

Thanks for that: I already have a hooky copy of the (huge) Honda workshop manual for the Pan Euro but the Haynes one might be useful to leave in the workshop to remind me about pressures and stuff... I'll let the grandkids give me it for xmas
