^^ Agree about the ITV4 coverage, the different styles of the guys compliment each other although I would have preferred Craig Doyle over the Welsh bloke who seems a bit monotone but maybe I'm being too picky. excellent in-depth commentary.
Craig Doyle appears to be covering for Suzi Perry at motogp on bt sport this weekend hence he's not about at the TT. He's clearly missing being at the TT as he basically told everyone watching like this morning about Dunlop's standing start lap record, talk about a spoiler!Just spoke to my mate who was watching at sulby straight and witnessed the paul shoesmith crash and said it was the worst thing he's ever seen and was pretty shaken up. Terrible news and I fear it won't be the last this week. This weather has had everyone pushing so hard.
I say this every year but I still don't know how they let. It go ahead every year. I don't want it stopping it just baffles me in a world where we can't even fart at work without wearing a hard hat they allow this to go ahead every year.
Thoughts are with all the riders families and friends.

What particular point are you trying to make Tim, you are talking about the spectacle that it is and yet how can it be allowed to happen - make your mind up .... I knew Shooey through business and trackday involvement for 15 years and he would query - vehemently - your " how do they let it happen".
It's s
t - it happens , it's the big boys pushing it .....
We all know how it works ...maybe leave out the bits of this and that all over the road as family and friends are on forums and the Internet too .....
Steady now, he's not saying they should stop it, more pointing out how completely it odds with more other forms of entertainment and even other motorsports in terms of risk and spectacle - which is no doubt what makes it such scintillating viewing. Always sad to hear of a rider dead though, my thoughts are with his friends and family. It's s

i meant no disrespect by it i have a good friend that passengers in the tt, well did until this year for conrad, and im not saying i think it should be stopped and i have huge respect for any of the riders and anyone that wants to do anything they love for that matter. Im just saying in a world thats health and safety mad it still baffles me how its allowed to continue. I dont want it stopped and glad it does continue but that doesnt change the fact that its almost inevitable that we get this terrible news every year on more than one occasion especially with it being pushed further and further into the public eye
its obviously different when a short circuit rider has an equally as unfortunate accident because its such a rare occasion and measures are often taken to look into it/change things in this case.

Tim please remove that post it's not the right time.
Were you saying the same when Louis Salom lost his life at Moto GP yesterday?
ive removed the details of the crash i see how that could be disrespectful but nothing else ive said is meant or should be taken as disrespect its just voicing some thoughts after a long day. Were you saying the same when Louis Salom lost his life at Moto GP yesterday?
