To answer your question premiums would probably be high but ironically actions like this one being taken by Shakey/his insurers would improve the affordability of and access to policies. These days in motorsport deaths and serious, career ending injuries are quite low (both in total numbers and rates per competitor) due to series organisers and track owners being dragged kicking and screaming to safety improvements.

At least I guess he wasn't overly bothered about losing the BSB TV job, since he's presenting on WSBK today.

Yes he was still on the BSB coverage.

If he's in contract there will hardly be a clause of him being dismissed for taking legal action.

Renewal will be a different matter and you've got to ask if the powers that be can put the experience behind them.

I guess msv could refuse him entry to there venues if they wanted.

I was only going by previous comments suggesting that could be a possibility, I have to admit I can't remember him at the last bsb meeting as I only watched the races after the weekend.

Shakey hasn't lost his job at Eurosport or been dismissed in any way, shape or form from MSVR.

His compensation claim was instigated years ago and only became public knowledge when it went to the preliminary court hearing.
