A nail has ended my Metzeler Roadtec's life. Sad as it probably had another 1000 miles in it.

New set on order - they've been that good.

Sounds like more of a recommendation than an actual plug.

Stuck behind a fiesta today with one brake light working... rolleyes I get past him quickly as I don't want to be sat behind them - on the next roundabout I'm in the left lane to go straight on (it's a basic 4 entrance roundabout, 12/3/6/9 o'clock) and matey in said fiesta comes up my inside as I'm giving way to a car on the roundabout, fine I think he's going right.... and promptly goes straight on from the right lane while I'm alongside him on the roundabout mad

Het gets dispatched again 50 metres down the road, only this time with a friendly one finger salute. shoot

I need to start pulling away from lights faster when commuting. Going under the A1 near Newcastle racecourse sees all kinds of muppets aimlessly veering into whatever lane they like. Older women in small hatchbacks seem the worst.

So although the T-Charge won't affect us this new one will - from 2019 my new (to me) CBR600F will be non-compliant with this fking cash grab charge. As an aside I'm questioning what I'll end up doing, don't want to upgrade the bike further because anything newer and comparable is:

More expensive to both buy and insure
Significantly more attractive to the chav scum stealing the bikes left parked around the city

FFS. fking Communist wkers.
TfL and the fking smarmy mayor have to be the biggest bunch of pious tossers going, who won't rest until we're all wobbling about town on bloody community bicycles, squashed on to tube trains or squeezed in to sweaty buses.
Private ownership of carbon fuelled vehicles is a crime against society. Allegedly.

Are you sure we're effected, I thought it was only relevant to 'bikes built prior to July 2007?

That's what I understood. There won't be many commuters with 12 year old bikes in the City, but if you wanted to see the sights on an older machine, it could get spendy......

Most were over that age when I used to commute into town.

So the mayor changed the start date, other than that this has been known about for a while now. Boris set it as 2020 sadiq steps it forward 1 year. Glad I ditched my March 2006 Blackbird i was commuting on until Feb last year when i did.

I would add advertising a date for something to apply then bringing it forward is a little s*itty!

Very good!

I couldn't get the nail out to plug it. I just don't have time and it's so close to going that I'm just changing them.

Going to be getting rid of the PR4 front that I have in my garage.
