One of the people there to make sure it's homologated has apparently been hospitalised after being bitten by a snake. The place was swimming in them was the message. Can't wait irked
I've been bitten by a snake on the grid once, thankfully nothing deadly, but it throbbed for a week! biggrin
Funny enough it was the MotoGP doctors that sorted me out, they were just setting up the paddock and medical centre for the following week.
And had you any side effects from the bite ? smile

Apparently MM93 and Honda haven’t got their visas for India and missed their flights. Seems absolute chaos at the moment. Wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t go ahead at this rate.
Bonkers isn't it ? You'd imagine someone might have thought to do a recce..... This season hasn't been the most glorious for those off of the track.

Dorna told them to use an agency and now saying to sort your own lol.

I think F1 had similar issues when they first went.
Even more reason to do a Recce so then. Bet Dorna might make a few moves if it was to be cancelled or are they paid already ?

Would anyone actually notice if Honda or MM were missing this weekend?
He finished 7th at the last race. He's hardly irrelevant.
Indeed, can't imagine his sponsors or Honda sponsors being too happy though. India is a massive massive market.

Cynical view, if he can't he's another race closer to being off of that awful Honda.

Is that two Honda's in Q2? Pretty damned impressive, will be interesting to see how they line up, top 6 for Marc hopefully.

KTM looking a bit below par, still expect a top 6 finish on Sunday from Brad.
Wonder if thats down to a new track or an improvement at Honda ? Good to see.

Lots of videos of Marc and Joan at the Honda factory on Instagram etc

Marc doesn't look like he wants to be there in most of them!!
Saw a few of them alright, staying or not, not sure I'd blame him.

It would make Ducati look desperate, which they most certainly are not.

Strange VR46 hasn't put anyone on the second bike for this weekend, seems like a perfect opportunity academy wise ?

KTM really beginning to find some pace now that's for sure.

Yamaha must be delighted with Marquez and all the talk about him and the Honda. Fabio and Morbidelli must be tearing their hair out, 15th and 16th ? Shocking stuff.

I fear Martin is turning into the new Lorenzo

When he's on it no one car get near and he just churns out mega lap after mega lap. He's shown this potential before but it's the first time he's done it consistently. Absolute animal.

Other than that Binder doing Binder things, impressive just a tiny piece of the puzzle missing which I hope he can find tomorrow. Bagnaia OK, Miller decent and impressively fended off Pecco but ultimately was outshone yet again by his team mate.

Marc also dong Marc things, dragged a half decent result out of that pig. Front end protesting into every corner, feel like I'm just waiting for him to crash in every bend.
Trouble for Miller is being decent a couple of races per season is no longer good enough when you've got the likes of Marquez and Quatararro all looking for a exit .
Spot on.

Great video of Cal asking Marquez if he had ever hear of a certain Clash song. Cal certainly not making any bones about the performance of his bike.
Rain was great.

Miller doing very well to keep his ride ( I like Jack but...) in this situation. No pressure on Acosta smile

Then do Honda stay in Moto GP or put all their effort into WSBK? Once Marquez goes and it appears KTM and Ducati are the bikes to be on, why would they stay and pump hundreds os millions Yen into something that they cannot attract a top rider to.

Interesting situation and one that could have far reaching implications
Yes, they'll stay. Honda top brass said they would and racing is in their DNA. I don't think the loss of Marquez will be enough to take down the future racing program.

I do think Honda will want to see a more significant change to the tech regulations for '27 onwards.
Honda will have to sign the next big thing, Acosta on the Honda in 25 you heard it here first smile

Should bring some excitement back to the races now anyhow at least, once he doesn't go all dominant on it.

I'm not usually a betting man but I could be tempted to have a couple of £££ on MM to take the title in 2024.
You are literally living in dreamland and I'll have whatever you're smoking.

I'm amazed at how many people are forgetting how inconsistent Marc has been for the last 4 seasons. This is the top level of motorsport, you don't just come back after 4 seasons of constant crashes, injuries, time out, new young talent on rival bikes - join another team with brand new crew chief and engineers, and go to the front each weekend, without making mistakes, without crashing and take home a title. It does not happen, and will not happen - even to the most talented rider there has ever been.
I'm not so sure, I think it would be worth a few quid too. Who's to say he doesn't gel with the bike straight away ? Don't forget Alex came from a Honda and was immediately very fast (not so much now admittedly). And Alex is no Marc.
How far off can the Gresini be ? A few tenths at most ? As a massive Rossi fan I'd hate to see him beat the record, but as a racing fan I can't wait to see him on it.

Bring back the Doc.... sell some tickets smile

Is that even do-able ? Are there certain criteria required for things like this ? Obviously he would have the license, experience bit ticked off.

A perfect opp though to give one of the academy guys a run.
