Well I guess they're capable of beating 100k plus super cars so you have a point, but the cheapest way to 150 and back will always be on a litre bike. smile

Those little Italians are gorgeous, aren't they! The details are sublime on them.

Gonna have to dig out my '67 125 Motobi as the OH has decided she wants to learn to ride (again hehe) - luckily she's decided she wants a proper bike rather than a scooter smile

ETA; just had a look through th rest of the album too, some cracking shots. My favourite is the late 20s Ariel OHV sloper cloud9

Huston - we have a problem. Need to ride it like this for the next week laugh

A problem indeed, you appear to have some body parts in your bike! yikes
When you are living your life a quarter mile at a time on a 125 scooter, carving up traffic, pedestrians and cyclists, st can get crazy.

Glad you liked them, Podman/Scrob smile There was quite a bit more there than I managed to snap. Good way to spend 5-6hrs anyway.

Yes true. I withdraw my statement, I had my car head on!

I want wider bars but most seem to be the same width?
I did not have a tape measure to hand but I have 3 sets of spares that are all slightly different sizes but only by 10mm or so.

If you have clip on's can you not just make your own bar?

Will measure mine when I get chance just for reference!

Was expecting to lose a battle bleeding up the brakes after fitting new lines, I did need the eazi bleeder but I now have what feels to be a decent set of brakes.

Used Dot5.1 as I was told its not quite so harsh when it comes to taking off paint. ..and so it proved to be.

i flushed the fronts on my bike the old fashioned way and it was a success. The colour of the old brake fluid was very dark!

Its always easier when you have some fluid in the brakes mate, everything on my system had been apart for refurb & with the new brake lines, it was just full of air..the eazi bleeder did the business thou, first time id used one, was a doddle.

Im aiming to do similar to my GSXR1000 next weekend, IF I can get it delivered this week.

You mean the daylight between engine and back wheel? They're all like that, Sir. I had to park head-on to the wind or it would have been lying down when we got back from our walk.
