Who can name the adventure bike in the background? Presuming some sort of KTM?

The first reaction is to say yes, KTM and it looks similar to the new 1090 Adventure but not quite.

Going to throw a random thought, but given that GMG is US based etc and that it's headlight is shared with many KTMs, could it be some kind of Motus project/custom/development? Fits in well with the pushrod V8 (ok half a V8)element of the program:

Nah, it's 1190 Adventure R.
Look at the engine crash bars and tank decals.

I love the look of the Motus MSTR - has anyone ridden one? Can you get them in the UK?

Just sold my Blackbird – had it for longer than any other bike (26 months biggrin) and will miss it. It probably wouldn't have been used until next April so it was time to go. Will likely get a Multistrada 1200 next. The Blackbird definitely deserves all the praise it gets. And it *wasn't* boring!

I'll mostly miss it for things like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNR_XZs566g

Took advantage of the weather and took the new bike its first proper run.
Wish the roads were always this quiet!

I suspect we will miss the crash as the photographer probably had to wind it on with the camera back then.

I can imagine it, "what a shot, click, click, click, oh fk he's gone".
