Welcome to biking! It really is good, isn't it?!
Before you uograde, I'd recommend a track day or even better a race school day. You'll realise just how freakin fast your bike can really go, on a track. That's another amazing, world changing experience level that will have you grinning from ear to ear, even for days after. Expensive habit though, track days... You have been warned!
Enjoy!

Thanks all
So since passing my test I've been out every weekend.
Racked up near 700 miles already.
Confidence has taken a big jump now also!
Fantastic Nothing quite like riding on a nice day. So since passing my test I've been out every weekend.

Just be careful around this time in your biking career, because when you get that initial confidence in riding you can be vulnerable. I look back to my first thousand miles (which was just a year and a half ago) and realize how relatively little control I had compared to now. I'll probably do the same thing in a couple years as well.
Hi Matt,
Welcome to biking! And glad you're enjoying it so much. Brilliant, isn't it?

Hello :-)
Welcome to Two Wheels!
Once you pass your test i can HIGHLY recommend going to do some IAM training. I'll teach you everything that the test doesn't (IE: How to actually ride properly) The TVAM (Thames Valley Advanced Motorcyclists) aren't that far from you. They meet at St Crispins School, Reading every 3rd Sunday of the month and allow you to learn over a few months worths of observed rides with volunteer instructors.
I'd also be a really great way of meeting other bikers + what i learned from these chaps saved my life on more than one occasion.
Cheerio :-)
