Thank you, yes my knees went all wobbly when he fired the desmo up, its fitted with the MotoGP exhaust and sounds awesome there's no other word for it.
Only went there for the desmo then saw the R7 sitting in his garage and the rest is history !!

Went to look at a desmosidici today which is in stunning condition and the guy also had a 2001 Yamaha R7 OW 02, after a lot of talking and drooling I ended up buying both of them.
The bikes are a credit to the previous owner as they are in immaculate condition and the mileages are really low.
I did take some photos with my phone but can't upload them for some reason !!!! Doh..( file to big or some thing ! )
He is delivering them to me sometime next week so will get some piccies up then ( hopefully !! )
Does the seller also own another OW-02 Track bike and 5 or 6 OW-01's ?The bikes are a credit to the previous owner as they are in immaculate condition and the mileages are really low.

Tony, massive congrats on the two for one, great man logic.
Only problem is that you're plan is for investment, which makes me sad, even though automotive seems to be a 'thing' to invest in.
Hopefully as part of maintaining condition you will get them run up regularly & of course run them out too, however short the distances.
Why were they up for sale? Got to be a bloody heart breaker for the vendor.

I definatley plan to use them as I do my other bikes, just to be sensible with them that's all.Only problem is that you're plan is for investment, which makes me sad, even though automotive seems to be a 'thing' to invest in.

The guy I bought them from has his reasons for selling them and I didn't feel it was my business to ask him why.
Really genuine guy though and he has had both bikes from new which is always a nice thing with reference to the history etc.
I'm know he is very sad to see them go.
