Cheers Mate for this but I'll test ride in the spring. Saves me taking my gear to the NEC and riding in the possible crap weather chris4652009 said:
Having been watching the pics/updates from EICMA this week I’m really looking forward to it now, that new Ducati scrambler looks AMAZING. Lots of new models look great this time.
Going up on TT day this year, just bought ticket
Yes, I'm looking forward to the show too, there are some great bikes launched this year, Ducati, Honda, KTM etc. I went to EICMA last year, but apart from the BMW S1000RR, and the beautiful woman, nothing really shone, mostly refreshed old models.Going up on TT day this year, just bought ticket

I normally only go every other year, but I will be there on the opening Sunday this year.
Looks like there should be plenty of new bikes to see for this year and hopefully it wont be too rammed on the Sunday? I normally go midweek but I can't get away from work this year.
This’ll be my first time visiting on a weekend. I usually go midweek but can’t get time off work this time around. Looks like there should be plenty of new bikes to see for this year and hopefully it wont be too rammed on the Sunday? I normally go midweek but I can't get away from work this year.
I'm going up with 3 others Saturday night, getting a curry, a lot of beer and a hotel then doing bike show Sunday
Food for thought though, one of my lot said he's a bit done with the bike show here so booked a day ticket to go to the Italian one. When you actually work out the flight cost, entry and car hire it doesn't actually work out that bad!

I haven't missed one for the last 18 years but I think I'll be skipping it this year. Had a great day last year as I got to try out one of the mt07s, had a crack at trial riding and also went off roading. Caught up with some BSB chat with Whitham and had a couple of beers to finish. Wasn't much time to see the whole show!

Went to the classic car show that also has the classic bikes yesterday.
I know people moan about the price to get to motorcyclelive but I paid online £19.50 (£25 on the day) for the show next week. But it was £27 online for the car show
I dont get how people moan about £20 to get in. You get almost every bike available on display to sit on and test ride on some of them. Try going around all the dealers on £20 worth of fuel, let alone the fact it would take you a lot longer than walking 20 seconds from one to the other at the bike show. Plus the stores and other events going on there. Yes I moan about the price of the food and drink there, but then I could take my own if I was really arsed..

What winds me up is paying £10 to park... I mean the NEC parking isn't doing anything else, it's not like a city-centre exhibition centre.Plus the stores and other events going on there. Yes I moan about the price of the food and drink there, but then I could take my own if I was really arsed..

Me I’m super excited for the bikeshow, going on the last Sunday with some friends but tempted to go this Sunday instead if the boys are flexible
