Arai rx7v or Shoei X-Spirit 3?

Isn't fit the more likely cause? I've got a MIPS cycling helmet, and it's extremely comfy (more comfy than the non-MIPS helmet it replaced).

I've worn Arai's for years.

I've also used ear plugs for years.

Arai also seem to overcomplicate the visor change mechanism with every update whilst also making it more fragile.

I gave my Arai a real world test with the help of a short sighted elderly chap. This is slide bounce, slide bounce, kerb, pavement. The interior padding deformed and the shell took a beating. I would buy another if I was to get on 2 wheels again.
I can afford the bike but not the divorce. If my head took the dents the rest of me took then I wouldn't be here.
