The three previous owners were probably beaded hipster types with check patterned lumberjack shirts that sold up the moment it lost 0.01% of its coolness.

PH, stereotypes matter hehe
The only thing that worries me about this post is that the bike might have lost some coolness... it hasn't has it? hehe

Annoyingly I can't grow a proper beard though grumpy
You can compensate for an inability to grow a beard by drinking your beer from a Kilner jar thumbup

Did you have a test ride? I tried a 701 supermoto which has the same engine and it was like no big single I'd ever tried before but in a very good way.
Don't joke as I do have my eye on an Oxford armoured shirt... Plain black though which is ok isn't it? hehe

Nah I've not test-ridden it. I've made a 2.5 hour round trip twice to see it, with gear in the boot of the car just in case, and didn't even ask about a test ride. Yes I am a knob.

The mystery will add to the anticipation though!

4th gen I think it is. The one prior to the VTEC. This one in fact:

Edit: it's a 5th gen.

They’re made by highsider. Possibly cheaper to buy direct without the Husqvarna added tax.

Now that is a dilemma! How much do I want an etched logo... scratchchin

And thanks carinaman. I saw them on eBay and worried a tad about the blurry photo but think they are probably the OEM ones.

...well I needed the logo in my life (yes I hate myself for it).

However, having added carinaman's eBay ones to my Watchlist the seller made me an offer and I got then for ~£77 each. Still a lot but hey!

I know I'm a bit late to the party and the OP has bought the bike, looks fantastic, congratulations.

My first bike was a pre registered MT07 that I picked up when it was 3 weeks "old", I did 750 miles on it and then I got a fantastic offer on another bike so I sold it, that meant that a bike that was less than 4 months old was looking for it's third owner.

They're a worthwhile upgrade (maybe not necessarily getting the H wink), the standard mirrors vibrate at motorway speeds but the bar ends are much better

Last ride out with the old Italian, for old time’s sake.

Soon to be replaced by a young Swede.

Doesn’t sound too bad does it hehe

That is a nice machine.

How do you find the bar position and general position compared to the monster.

Also, where is the monster advertised?
