I will be tinkering with the race bike. It never ends.....
......and visiting a mate in hospital who had a very nasty off last week at silverstone.
7 broken ribs, punctured lung and a broken shoulder blade.....
Jayzus... give him a big 'get well soon' from all the PH biker types... ......and visiting a mate in hospital who had a very nasty off last week at silverstone.

For me, well, my beloved Bandit 12 is on its way out (gearbox issues), so have been test riding a couple of possible replacements today- a Yam Fazer Thou, and a Suzi SV thou. Hadn't considered the Yam, it was recommended by my mate at the bike shop, and is a fantastic machine - handles beautifully, and has a monumental engine, but doesn't really engage my emotions in any way. The Suzuki was painful on the wrists through town, had a lumpy engine and felt difficult to ride.... and it was great!! It's been a long time since I've ridden a bike with that head down and feet up riding position, but it feels like a modern day cafe racer and sounds fantastic... I'll let y'all know what occurs...
Ain't it great shopping for a new bike?!

Today I have mostly been putting a deposit on a 2004 Suzuki SV1000s.
It's done 7,700 miles, has a hugger, double bubble screen, fenda extenda, luggage rack, and Scorpion cans with removable baffles. She's pretty much in showroom condition, and I'm chuffed, to say the least!!! I pick her up on Mon 9th, this is going to be a long 9 days!!

Wasn't really planning on going out on the Bike, but finding a spare few hours and a shiney just washed bike sat in the sun It'd be rude not to go out
Over Holme Moss into Glossop then the Snake pass into Sheffield then into Huddersfield on the Penistone road.
just under 100 miles in just over 2 hours so I think that's called progressing.
It's the first time I've done the Snake on the Bandit only been on the CG before. I can overtake things now
Might even do the same tomorrow.
Hope you all had a good safe ride.
