How the fk did you manage that, if you don't mind me asking!?!?

I got 2 quotes yesterday, one from go-compare on a gixxer-6 and one from Carole Nash on a CBR-6 and both came in at over £1k!

I'm 27, recently passed (Monday in fact) with two 2 year old SP30s.

I was expecting £750ish but over £1k is taking the michael, to the point where I'm thinking I might as well not have bothered getting my license.....(that may have had something to do with me spitting my dummy out 5yo stylee hehe)
They are having a laugh mate, im 24 and last time round paid £560 on a ZX12 fully comp. Try quoteline direct. They did a price match for me and are always willing to knock some off to secure your business

So who is good to contact then ?

Who shall I call for a quote just to get a idea of prices?

Paid £139.00 for the Sachs TFT and its first bike.

Try Carole Nash and give them the "I want to go with you, if you will price match" line. They did that for me, obviously keen to win the business.

There's your answer
Yeah but £1k plus for a 600!? Seems a bit steep to me; I could insure £15ks worth of M3 for about the same!
But a bike has half the wheels and twice(-ish) the performance!
wink

You only just have a license which is why you'll get raped for the insurance.
Plus i dont reckon your M3 will do 0-60 in 3 - 3.5 seconds & 0-100 in about 7-8?!
