What a joke.
Why?
Because he should have better things to do. Thats why.

She was pulled over because her car is not road legal, and bloody dangerous.
Stupid bint in a car that size who can barely see out of both passenger and driver side windows is a recipe for disaster if you ask me!

Can't watch this. The guy on the SP1 was being a bit of a pratt and his observation skills clearly need work, but when someone like that who gets off the bike with a fair cop/I'm an idiot attitude and gets the book thrown at them and scrotes who mug old ladies get a pat on the fking head it makes me mad

The law is seriously fked up.

Trace
no offence, but he got caught red handed doing 110mph in a 60, he'll get the appropriate punishment.
I am not saying he wasn't being stupid at all. I am saying the law is messed up if he gets a prison sentence for that offence (which could happen, no?) and some scrote who mugs an old lady gets a suspended that's all.

No offence taken by the way smile

Trace smile
Motorists are rarely imprisoned, even those that kill people, sentencing across crimes is a disgrace with the punishment rarely aligned to the crime.

No offence taken smile

Why not just say, get it done and issue a note for them to bring it to the station.

Then perhaps he could get on with stopping people with no tax or ins.

So as a biker are you not concerned by someone driving a car with heavily tinted windows and wearing sunglasses?

I agree adam, many of us (bikers) wear black kit etc and she will be pulling out of junctions with minimal visibility and to top it off, had her shades on as well ..... must have been virtually blind out of those side windows ...

Agreed, soz Mitzy. Completely judging by appearances here (designer sunglasses anyone?) but she doesn't look like someone who has taken an IAM exam...

No, not at all.

As a biker I assume everyone is going to pull out on me anyway, regardless of the colour of thier windows or thier eyewear.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one to think that guy is coming across as a bit of a plonker.

Agreed, VDRS would have been preferable but the stop in my view was justified.

Still think the whole incident could have been better managed by the officer.

Legal or illegal windows. I would be more concerned about people who might hit bikers with no insurance or who should not be dring in the first place.

No insurance as in being void due to illegal windows?

The tints were dangerous and may well lead to a collision. He'll also deal with plenty of no insurance jobs as well.
