Bikey things. Saturday morning, Tax and service new (old) bike. Then finally get out on her. This week's been torture, it's taken Bennett's a week to send an insurance certificate out - it's 2010 FFS!

Its my last day at work today. biggrin Tonight I'm out on the sauce. Tomorrow I'll be sorting out the track bike and heading over to Snetterton with my mate (to help with any Spannering). Sunday will be my first ever track day. Monday I start my new job..

Knockhill on race day regardless of weather.

Should be getting picked up so not riding away.

Hope the weather is not so bad that it interferes with the racing but can only prey for sun as seeing all the classes live and flat out on a dry warm track should be great.

I'm going to try and fit the quick-action throttle tube to the Daytona tomorrow – it's looking like a fairing-off job. Then I'll be playing Red Dead Redemption until my eyes fall out.

Won't get a chance for bikey this weekend, after last weekend was spent tearing up the Yorkie dales.

Am off to Goodwood on Sunday though, for some petrol-headed goodness, but have to take the car as there's 8 of us going.

Forgot to mention on Saturday night taking my son to his Junior School Prom. Theme is James Bond and lots will be arriving in flash cars. Fairly sure my son will be the only one arriving on a motorbike. Will be his first time as a pillion too.

One time I think when, upon pulling up at the school hall, it will be necessary to blip the throttle a few times smile

Going to Haynes motor museum on sun with mates. If it's dry taking the bike and if wet I'm going to take the kit car. I just hope it's dry. As for tomorrow it's family time so some swimming BBQ etc
Its a good day at, the haynes motor museum, more cars than bikes, but still a good day out nonetheless.

So im told im going to a game and country fair near ashbourne saturday, whereas i wanted to go look for a new bike but got overruled, as usual

Don't bother with a test ride, just beat the salesman half to death with a wedge of used notes.

I had one for the day whilst my 955i was being serviced did a 100+ miles and was very impressed.

Bikie! (rhymes with pikie)

Picking up some parts for the KR1 and will see if I can cannibalise the top end from the engine with duff crank seals. Otherwise the engine is off to Stan's down south and get the crank seals done.

And after work I'm going to look at a GSXR 750!

My bro-in-law and wife, plus four other Czechs have all arrived today:

2 x Transalps
1 x Africa Twin
1 x Trophy 900.

They are staying with us for a couple of nights before heading off to do the round Scotland trip.

I will probably get very drunk tonight...

Riding the national road rally, trying to acheive the daytime silver on my little bike, so 275 miles of map reading trying to find people in laybys should be fun.

Sunday probably just watching the gp and bsb and other bike racing I can find if I can get away with it, but saying that might just have a bimble out again if it's nice.

I'll be at Snetterton on Sunday, I'm really looking forward to meeting quite a few people that I've only talked to online from PH.

Now that's not a bad thought, saw some of these guys practicing when BN was up for a track day and they looked quick, that might be sunday sorted, thanks for that.
