450 miles completed and today I get a puncture. £40 lighter and I get to ride it home rather than stick it on an AA truck. It got a good ride !!!

It's Ardvreck Castle, by Loch Assynt. On the road to Lochinver, or turn right and head for the Kylesku Bridge, then Durness and on to Dunnet Head.

Cheers.

I didn't like the looks of the new R1 when I first saw it, but it has grown on me. Now I think it looks bloody fantastics, I was having a good perv on legzR1's bike at Hartside a few weeks back. I'd love to grab a go on one some day, total dream machines.

480 miles and a frickin nail in my 1299 rear. These supercorsas are the stickiest tire I've had.

Mrs Redback911 has her first ride out on her bike after passing her test yesterday, and we have an awesome breakfast. Overall a great day.

No hint intended mate, I could only offer a go on an old SRAD in return and I doubt that would tickle your fancy. I don't mind swapping cheap bikes with mates, but I wouldn't trust myself on a spanking new R1, if anything untoward did happen I'd be st out of luck!

I do love R1s though.

Only jesting mate.

Years ago we all used to try each other's bikes (probably why test rides weren't so important when buying from a dealer) and it was a rare to finish a ride out on the same bike you started on but insurance and cost of damage has thwarted it a bit frown

Bit far from you in Wiltshire, but its Pump Street Bakery in Orford, Suffolk. Their jammy doughnuts are a bit addictive, only slightly better for you than crack.

(Sorry for turning thread into Great British Bake off!)

Haha, true. Usually I have to eat the one-handed if I have beer in the other hand.
